mobifindit! and mobidgets!
Ok, I owe you a real combo update about what’s been going on at mobease recently.
So, on mobifindit!, we are polishing several aspects and will reach 1.0 release at the end of August. We received great feedback both from users, reviewers & investors 
The other “small” piece of news that’s kept us silent lately is a new project called mobidgets. This has been in the company’s genome since the beginning but only now can we reveal to adventurous widget developers a first alpha!
mobidgets is a complete widgets engine for mobile phones (Symbian & MIPD) in the spirit of Yahoo! Widgets. With mobidgets, one can track the weather forecasts, stock quotes, news, Flickr photo streams or whatever else in a very efficient manner, right from the handset’s idle screen, thanks to these small applications named widgets.
Instead of asking the user to navigate through a bunch of (wap) pages to get this information, mobidgets delivers them in a friendly and bandwidth optimized manner.
Anyway, I’ll talk more about it in the coming months but if you are a developer and are equipped with a Symbian S60 (FP2 or FP3) handset, you can head to http://mobidgets.com, otherwise, be patient, we’ll open a public beta in September.
